Repair cracks in tarmac with this fast drying crack repair compound. A crack repair for tarmac can be done easily and quickly using this product. A crack repair in tarmac is now available and can save money on replacement of a tarmac surface.
A fast drying super strong dry concrete mix (supplied in 3kg) that can be mixed with water or Tarmac Restorer to form a crack repair paste. Once applied to carry out a crack repair for tarmac a Tarmac Restorer like TarmaSeal can be used to create the perfect finish.
For fine cracks the compound can be swept directly into the crack and water or Tarmac Restorer then added to seal the joint.
Available in black (CHARCOAL), red (DEEP RED) or green (LAWN GREEN) for tarmac repairs featured on the colour chart below.
Q: Does this crack repair absorb the tarmac restorer surface coat the same as the surrounding tarmac? Is it OK to get a crack repair colour the same as weathered tarmac (lighter grey) if the above is true? Then as the surface coat wears with time, will the underlying crack repair not be as obvious?
A: The Crack Repair Compound is to be used to fill minor cracks and holes. It does come in lighter colour variants of grey such as platinum grey, steel grey and slate grey. The tarmac restorer will colour over any repairs you have made with the crack repair. As the crack repair compound will not exactly match the texture of the surrounding tarmac so after coating you would proabbly notice a reapir had been carried our desoite it being the same colour. As the surface wears it may be that the underlying crack repair becomres a bit more visible but this is not usually an issue.
Q: What shelf life does SmartSeal Repair compound and SmartSeal sealer have after they have been opened?
A: The crack repair compound is a cementicious powder that doesnt really have a shelf life. The only thing that could cause it to deteriorate would be water or other types of liquid as it will cause it to harden. The sealer itself should be used ideally within 3 months of opening.
Q: What the best sealer to use with the crack repair in concrete
A: The solvent based concrete sealer or any of the solvent based imprinted concrete sealers are what most people use inconjunction with the crack repair compound.

Theres ample enough in the tub to do lots of crack repairs if necessary. Its probably geared up for concrete repairs but I only needed it for cracks. Make sure you order the correct colour.
Does what it says on the tin. Looks great easy to apply.
I used this product to brush into repair small cracks in my driveway. It is important to carefully follow the instructions but the results are excellent and the cracks are now barely noticeable.
