Repair cracks in tarmac with this fast drying crack repair compound. A crack repair for tarmac can be done easily and quickly using this product. A crack repair in tarmac is now available and can save money on replacement of a tarmac surface.
A fast drying super strong dry concrete mix (supplied in 3kg) that can be mixed with water or Tarmac Restorer to form a crack repair paste. Once applied to carry out a crack repair for tarmac a Tarmac Restorer like TarmaSeal can be used to create the perfect finish.
For fine cracks the compound can be swept directly into the crack and water or Tarmac Restorer then added to seal the joint.
Available in black (CHARCOAL), red (DEEP RED) or green (LAWN GREEN) for tarmac repairs featured on the colour chart below.
Q: I have created several indentations on our black tarmac drive by jacking a car up & not putting any protection ply wood underneath the jack. Several are up to 1.5 cm deep. What product would you recommend to repair them? I was thinking of using the crack repair compound but noticed this is actually concrete based & not tarmac. Please advise if using crack repair compound is suitable for repairing small holes in tarmac.? I want the repair to actually look like tarmac & not concrete. Thanks Regards Frank Kobyra
A: The Crack Repair Compound in charcoal is what we would normally use to carry out repairs to small holes in tarmac. The product is also used on concrete surfaces. Usually the Crack Repair Compound is used in conjunction with the tarmac restorer to ensure the finish is more uniform after the repairs have been done. The only product we have that will look like tarmac is the cold lay repair but this is generally used for larger repairs like pot holes and broken edges of tarmac.
Q: Can the concrete repair compound be mixed with cold lay to fill surface blemishes and smaller cracks where aggregates are missing?
A: This is not something we would generally recommend as it has not been tested for this purpose. However, that is not to say it would not work so it may be best to try doing a test patch. Usually the crack repair compound is used on its own to fill small crack and holes and the cold lay repair for larger holes to repair.
Q: What is the largest crack recommended for filling
A: There is no defined crack size for filling with the crack repair compound but once cracks start to get above 15-20mm the cold lay repair may be a better option to use.

Theres ample enough in the tub to do lots of crack repairs if necessary. Its probably geared up for concrete repairs but I only needed it for cracks. Make sure you order the correct colour.
Does what it says on the tin. Looks great easy to apply.
I used this product to brush into repair small cracks in my driveway. It is important to carefully follow the instructions but the results are excellent and the cracks are now barely noticeable.
