Tarmac Paint

Tarmac PaintTarmaseal™ is an advanced, hard wearing and long-lasting Tarmac restoration and Asphalt sealing product. Tarmac or asphalt surfaces such as driveways and car parks that have lost colour, look worn and 'tired' can be transformed to look as "good as new" after an application of Tarmaseal. Tarmaseal™ is so easy to use that many homeowners now use it to quickly refurbish their driveways and make big savings on labour costs.

Tarmac and asphalt surfaces are very vulnerable to the damaging effects of UV light from the sun. Over time the surface colour of the tarmac will fade and eventually the aggregate will become loose after prolonged exposure to UV light. If left to deteriorate further, the tarmac or asphalt will eventually start to crack up in places and the whole tarmac surface might have to be replaced.

Tarmaseal™ is far more than a 'tarmac paint.' It contains the acrylic resins which your driveway had when new, but has lost over time. It will restore the original colouring of your tarmac and helps reduce 'fretting' (surface degradation). Tarmaseal™ is specially formulated with UV filters to help protect the newly painted tarmac from the damaging effects of sunlight.Tarmac Paint

One of the key differences between Tarmaseal™ and a tarmac paint is that Tarmaseal™ soaks into the tarmac, whereas paint (also referred to as a 'surface dressing') tends to sit on the surface and can peel off with weathering and vehicles parking on it.

The are many benefits to using a quality product like Tarmaseal™ as listed below:

  • Will restore original colour of a tarmac or asphalt surface (available in black, red and green)
  • Saves money by avoinding the need to replace a tarmac surface
  • Significantly extends the lifespan of a tarmac surface (driveway, car park, tennis court etc)
  • Inhibits the growth of weeds, algae and moss on a tarmac drive.
  • Removing oil leaks and fuel spillages is much easier once the tarmac is painted and sealed
  • Makes tarmac and asphalt more 'elastic' which helps prevent cracks appearing

Please note: For a proper curing time, it is important that the temperature is at least 9°-10°C and that there is no possibility of rainfall within the next 24 hours. It is also important to carry out any tarmac repairs to cracks prior to application for the best results. Tarmaseal is also known as tarmac sealer or asphalt sealer.
